Workplace managers must be able to not only manage their department’s cash flow but they must also justify the expenditures. Developing a purposeful and credible budget provides a number of benefits including better forecasting and improved manager and employee motivation. As well, it creates an effective financial communication platform between all levels of the organization.
At this workshop, you will learn the basics of developing a cash budget from a business perspective, with a focus on cash management strategies.
Our blended format includes three components:
Pre-workshop Activities (approx. 60 minutes to complete): pre-reading materials
Workshop Activities (3-hour virtual session): practise and feedback of key concepts using coaching, scenarios and discussions
Post-workshop Activities (approx. 60 minutes to complete): proof-of-learning assignment with feedback provided by the instructor
